Disagreement between the political parties is often both seen and heard. Unfortunately for Birgitte, there is also unrest in her own ranks when the sex trade is placed on the agenda. In Copenhagen, police have found three women who have been locked up and forced to have sex against their will. The case causes the Labour Party, the Moderates, Social Solidarity, the Green Party, the Freedom Party and the New Democrats to discuss the need for a law prohibiting the purchase of sex in Denmark. Torben, too, is encountering ethical problems; but these do not have to do with prostitution, but rather with his affair with the editor Pia, which is developing.
