As the Kouga deal with the death of Gyobu, they continue on their journey to Sunpu. Along the way, Oboro's hawk flies over carrying a scroll. As two are sent off to fetch this scroll, two are left behind. And it is from here, where Tenzen waits in the shadows, ready to strike out at the Kougas he has now split in two. However, not everything is as it seems, and not all eyes that appear blind have lost their sight.
