The BBC's coverage of Glastonbury Festival 2010. After U2 had to pull out of Glastonbury's 40th anniversary, Damon Albarn returned to headline his consecutive festival with Gorillaz. A sprawling set was performed by a squad of ex-Clash members Mick Jones and Paul Simonon, Snoop Dogg and Shuan Ryder. Although the World Cup was the UK's hot topic, back in Somerset Muse delivered a dramatic laser-guided set which saw U2's the Edge making a star appearence. Another surprise came when the camp hellraisers Scissor Sisters introduced Kylie on stage with them, in a day that included a gyrating Shakira and Pet Shop Boys' art-pop live show. Soul legend Stevie Wonder vibed the audience on the final day of the festival performing an upbeat set culminating in a duet with Michael Eavis on Happy Birthday. Meanwhile Dr Who found his way on stage with Orbital for their take of his theme tune on the Other stage.
