Let me quote Richard Trudeau, a math author who said this: "...when the pall of familiarity lifts, as it occasionally does, and I see the Theorem of Pythagoras afresh, I am flabbergasted.”
It would be nice to try to retain that sense of wonder as we approach this great result. It is quite amazing.
