The mice are having a field day in a big toy store, where they try out all the toys. Katnip is employed as guard, and the mice flee for their lives. All is grief until Cousin Herman comes home on a furlough. Herman makes Katnip think that he's in the army again. He toots his bugle, and Katnip snaps to attention, winds up the toy soldiers, and marches right out of the store with them.
