Little Audrey and her dog Pal take a day off from school and go fishing. The truant officer is hot on their trail. He thinks that he has caught them in a big bag, but he has caught an angry bear instead. Audrey and Pal go out in a boat to get away from him. The truant officer comes up in the water beside the boat. Finally, he snares them and takes them to school. But school is closed. It's a holiday.
