Unaware that Katnip is the night watchman, Herman takes his three nephews to the circus. He puts on a show for them until hungry old Katnip nabs the little mice. Arriving at the circus too late, Herman agrees to do a show for his three nephews, but night watchman Katnip tries to steal the show. Herman must continue doing his show, keeping one step ahead of the pesty feline!
