With her big brother hurt (and no one else to help), Applejack volunteers to harvest the apple trees in Ponyville all by herself. However, she is too prideful and stubborn to accept any help from the other ponies, but she becomes more and more tired throughout the day, which causes problems when she promises to help them with their chores. After some persuasion from Twilight Sparkle that she really needs help, Applejack finally accepts and later apologizes for her behavior.
