Joe Maddalena pays a house call to his friend Frank Darabont, the legendary director behind The Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile, and The Walking Dead. Frank wants to auction some items to raise money for earthquake and tsunami relief in Japan. This is great news to Joe who knows Frank to be a great collector. Frank pulls out boxes of props and rare items from The Shawshank Redemption, and also gives Joe two great leads.
Meanwhile, Jesse D'Angelo and Brian Chanes attend Monsterpalooza, a massive gathering of horror artists and sci-fi icons. The guys hunt through the maze of booths, talking to B-movie actresses and blockbuster creature designers until they run into an artist with a helmet from The Rocketeer. The only problem is, it doesn't look like the real deal to Brian. Can he authenticate it and get the consignment, or is the day a bust?
Joe follows up on Frank's leads and heads to KNB Efx with Tracey McCall and Jon Mankuta in tow to meet up with Greg Nicotero, the makeup wizard behind Academy Award winning, Chronicles of Narnia and The Walking Dead. Greg exhumes a gruesome prop for the charity auction, and Tracey gets an extreme makeover that gives the guys the creeps. Later, Joe and Jon crack open Frank Darabont's storage unit, where they find Green Mile props and make a shocking discovery that could spark up intense bidding at auction.
