Joe Maddalena is on his way to late creature designer Stan Winston's warehouse to meet with Stan's son-in-Law, Erick Litoff. Stan has left behind a rich legacy of work from such films as The Terminator, Edward Scissorhands, Iron Man and Jurassic Park. A longtime family friend, the Winston family have entrusted Joe to sift through the warehouse in search of big-ticket items that could help fund The Stan Winston School of Character Arts, which educates aspiring special effects artists. Can Joe find that one special item that will meet the school's budgetary goal? Meanwhile, Tracey McCall fills the gang in on a new lead. While out to dinner the night before, she received a tip about the prop plane that hangs off the roof of the restaurant - it's probably from a movie and maybe even screen used. Later, Joe also gets a surprise visit from a consigner whose collection defines the phrase "one man's trash is another mans treasure."
