"Lisa Williams: Life Among the Dead" explores Williams' abilities to see and speak with the dead and, in some cases, possibly transform the lives of the people she meets who are seeking to connect with their dearly departed. Throughout the series, Williams shares stories of people wanting to be reunited with someone who has died, while offering personal observations and insights. In this episode: On the street in Santa Monica, Lisa does an impromptu reading for a woman and is able to connect her to her close female friend who died of cancer. For her first reading, Lisa meets Antoinette and immediately gets the energy of a chatty, warm woman who turns out to be Antoinette’s mother. In her second reading, Lisa talks to the host of the entertainment-magazine show "Extra," Dayna Devon, who is seeking to connect with a close friend who has passed away. To wrap the show up, Lisa checks out a haunted restaurant in Oxnard, California. Lisa arrives at the restaurant and meets a bartender, Mike, and the owner, Judy. Lisa picks up on male energy and when she asks the spirit to make his presence known, Mike, Judy and even Lisa herself are shocked when a security monitor mysteriously turns off.
