Josh is driving his wife Emma mad with his nocturnal antics. In discussion with Dr Dawn he talks of night terrors that are making him tired in the day and edging him ever closer to being kicked out of the marital bed. Emma reports that Josh talks, sits up, and jumps about in the middle of the night whilst still completely asleep; furthermore Josh has no recollection of events the morning after. Dr Dawn sends him to a sleep lab to monitor his brain waves as well as installing a camera in his bedroom to capture any late night antics. Having gathered the evidence they were looking for Dr Dawn suggests some anger management classes as Josh seems hesitant to go on medication. Whilst at first dubious, the anger management sessions soon prove successful with various emotional breakthroughs. After 6 sessions of anger management Josh and wife Emma returned to chat with Dr Dawn both noting a vast improvement with the situation.
Dr Dawn and Dr Christian took to the hectic streets of London to raise awareness of stress. Prolonged stress can severely affect your health so Embarrassing Bodies went to talk to city professionals to find out just how much they actually knew about the condition. Within minutes Dr Dawn had diagnosed a case of Shingles and a nasty cold sore.
Meanwhile, Dr Christian gathers a group of stressed out workers to explain key symptoms of stress and gets them to undergo testing for stress related hormone Cortisol with some surprising results. Dr Christian also gets a visit in the truck from London bus driver Anthony who’s having problems performing in the bedroom. Dr Christian outlines some of the reasons for erectile dysfunction, stress being a very common one – and sends Anthony off to his GP to have a general check up.
24 year old Gina came to Dr Pixie in search of help for her sagging breasts that she says resemble those of an 80 year old. Her breasts aren’t the only things that are down as Gina’s confidence is clearly low because of her unsightly boobs. Dr Pixie has a look at the offending organs and does indeed note stretched, sagging, excess skin which is quite unusual for a woman of Gina’s age but she also notes that it is really a cosmetic issue with no real option other than surgery – that would leave scars. Gina opts to go under the knife for a breast uplift (Mastopexy) where 4 inches of skin are removed. Gina then returns to show off the results to Dr Pixie. Noting vast improvements in both breasts and self esteem Gina eases Dr Pixie’s reservations saying she was pleased with the results and the grueling process she had to go through to get them was worth it.

However in the process it is discovered that April’s veins in her left leg are not working as they should and April undergoes further procedures under local anaesthetic to seal a leaking vein and pull out some small visible ones. 9 weeks later April returns to visit Dr Pixie to show off her new legs that are a marked improvement enabling April to finally go out in a skirt after ten long years.

Businesswoman Stephanie dropped into the mobile clinic to seek advice on an unsightly pigmentation that has sent her back rather patchy. Dr Christian diagnoses Malassezia Fur Fur, a common fungus that grows on the surface of the skin which affects the production of melanin in the body. Dr Christian recommends an anti-fungal body scrub that should kill the fungus and restore Stephanie’s skin to its former glory with repeated use.
19 Year old Kimberley gets constant mouth ulcers which are a normal occurrence but not in such high quantities. Dr Christian swabs Kimberley’s mouth for testing, predicting the herpes virus, but also checking for more severe underlying conditions. When all tests come back clear Recurrent Abscess Ulcers are diagnosed and anti-inflammatory tablets are diagnosed. Weeks later a happy Kimberley’s notes that she’s only had two ulcers in recent weeks compared with the 8 or 9 she had grown used to in a similar time frame.
