The Emirates Stadium hosts the north London derby between Arsenal and Tottenham. The visitors have not won away to the Gunners since the inaugural Premier League season in 1992/93, and have often been overshadowed by their local rivals. However, Spurs are a club on the rise under Harry Redknapp, who helped his side finish just one place below Arsenal last season, bringing Champions League football to White Hart Lane for the first time.
Champions Chelsea have an awkward away game against Birmingham City, who held the Blues to a goalless draw in this fixture last December.
Manchester United put 10 goals past Wigan in their two games last season, and will hope for a repeat performance at Old Trafford. Elsewhere, Blackpool meet Wolves, Bolton play Newcastle, West Brom take on Stoke and Liverpool host West Ham.
