Watch Kirsties Homemade Home online: Episode 1 Wolverhampton

In this opening programme, Kirstie meets Shaun and Gemma from Wolverhampton. They're desperate for some inspiration to transform their shabby six bedroom Victorian townhouse into a family home with bags of period charm. Kirstie's there to get them started, plotting an overhaul of their home office-cum-library and hallway. The hope is that this will inspire them to transform the remainder of the house. Along the way, Gemma and Shaun turn their hands to making a stained glass window, learning how to make lined curtains, the basics of being a blacksmith and the best ways to bag a bargain at a salvage yard or antiques fair. On top of all this, Kirstie pays a visit to crochet expert Erica Knight.
