Máire is struggling to decide whether or not to show Peadar the letter written by Éamon’s mother, which Caomhán claims will prove his father really is Peadar’s half-brother! However, when Máire suggests that Éamon may be telling the truth about being related, Peadar is furious and refuses to discuss the matter! Máire then decides to keep the letter a secret!
