Addicted to cocaine, unable to keep a job and desperate for money, Robert Pringle agrees to smuggle cocaine out of Peru. When Robert has second thoughts and tries to back out of the deal, drug dealers threaten him and his family. Feeling he has no choice but to go through with the operation, he heads to Peru, where he is picked up by the authorities at the airport and thrown in jail. Unable to understand the language, Robert has no idea how long he will be there.
