Nicole Sullivan stars as Rita Clemens, a wife and mother who was once the lead singer of a Bangles cover band. Rita traded a life in rock clubs for carpools and the PTA. With the hope of getting a little bit of the "old Rita" back, she forms a garage band with postal carrier Patty (Campbell-Martin), unemployed neighbor Owen (Ian Gomez) and her daughter's boyfriend Kip (Ullman). When Hallie confesses to Rita that she and Kip are thinking about having sex, Rita bites the bullet and takes her to the doctor to discuss birth control. Rita becomes nostalgic about how fast her daughters are growing up until she gets some unexpected news. . . she's pregnant! Premieres October 5 at 7:30 pm et/pt.
