Sid and Cat head north to Iqaluit, the capital city of Nunavut, Canada's newest territory. Eldon is eager to learn more about this mysterious place and incorporate some of his discoveries into his election campaign. Our daring adventurers enlist the help of Elisapee Sheutiapik, the first female Inuk mayor of Iqaluit to show them around town. Then Cat and Sid are taught some traditional Inuit games at the Makkuttukkuvik Youth Centre with the help of Northern Winter Games athletes Donovan Ayaruak and Hilary Tulvqak. Then they learn the ancient art of throat singing from the choir at Qikiqtani Middle School. Meanwhile, Eldon has discovered how to bring the north to Parliament Hill – rebuild the parliament buildings as igloos! It's a chilly job, but somebody has to do it!
