Working from a dedicated garage base, the Mini will need a number of repair jobs, plus a host of smaller, cosmetic tidy ups before it's ready for the road. A sure treat for lovers of the Mini everywhere.
First and foremost Mike must find the Mini to revamp. Through a number of mediums, such as small ads, the Internet, specialist clubs and garage forecourts, he hunts down the best car to work on. Whilst finding the car to renovate, Mike offers plenty of useful and general tips on how to select the perfect second hand motor.
Acclaimed motor specialist Edd China makes his initial assessment of the Mini, leaving Mike to decide what to spend the £1,000 on and how best to get the car back on the road and cruising down the motorway.
The ultimate aim is to have the Mini renovated, cleaned and finally sold to a keen buyer; hopefully at a profit. Again Mike will offer essential tips on how to sell a second-hand car.
