Watch Sea Patrol online: Episode 5 Giving up the Dead

The ugly practice of drink spiking has drastic effects on two of the Hammersley crew who eventually find themselves facing a fiery death at sea. The nightmare begins when RO (Kristian Schmid) stumbles back to the Hammersley, having woken disoriented on a deserted beach. Some of the crew joke about his party animal behaviour, but RO has no memory of his time ashore, and his erratic behaviour worsens. He attacks a shipmate and then almost drives a RHIB (inflatable Zodiac) into the side of the mother ship, when he suffers triple vision... CO Mike Flynn (Ian Stenlake) orders a drug test and for the reclusive RO, the positive results are devastating. His career is on the line and only Bomber (Kirsty Lee Allan) seems to believe his claim that his drink was spiked by a Swedish backpacker.
