As the stock markets collapse, the world is plunged into recession, and the Torchwood team is splintered, defeated and scattered across the world. In Wales, Gwen must take fierce action to fight for her father’s survival, while far away, Jack and Esther stay in hiding, to prepare their last, desperate weapon. Rex uses the might of the CIA to fight the Three Families, but the team soon realizes that Oswald Danes holds all the cards.
