Sasha wants a romantic "perfect" dog, but Charlie argues that she'd be bored and that she should just accept Charlie for what he is! Their argument takes them outside where a runaway bus nearly hits Sasha. Charlie takes the hit for her, and when he comes to, he's super-attentive to Sasha, who believes she now has the perfect dog. But it's just a scam -- Charlie plans to smother her with kindness, thereby making her want the old Charlie back. Sasha finds out about the plot and decides to fight fire with fire, making outrageous demands on Charlie to drive him crazy. In the end, Charlie again saves Sasha from another bus, and they reluctantly forgive each other. But it's only for a moment, because soon they are back to their old selves, verbally jabbing and teasing one another.
