The three friends and Jerry go on an educational visit to the local prison with their class. There they meet a charming thief named Jimmy the Jemmy who manages to convince them that he is in fact innocent. They are so taken in by him that he convinces them to go and pick up some bread for him from a baker friend of his. The baker, of course, is himself a rather dodgy looking character and bakes all sorts of escape tools into a loaf of bread that the boys then deliver to Jimmy. At the same time, through casual conversation Jimmy learns what the three friends and Jerry got for Christmas, and upon his escape from prison he immediately breaks into their respective houses dressed as Santa Claus to steal their presents. His final escape is foiled, however, when he walks right into Jerry's ""girl-trap"" - a snare Jerry had set up to catch girls. Encouraged by this success, Jerry is filled with renewed hope that one day he might actually catch a real girl in his trap.
