Pete was asked to go to the police station for further questioning into the fire at the cafe. He denied that he started the fire and told them that he was with Eileen all night. The police presented him with a piece of a shirt with paint on it matching that of his flat. He told them that the only shirt like that he owned had been taken to a charity shop a week ago. The police then asked him for a DNA sample so that they could eliminate him from their enquiries. Pete was glad to help because he hasn't done anything wrong. Later, Eileen tells Pete that she needs some money so that she can make plans for the wedding. He tells her that he'll have to get her a credit card for his account; in the meantime he gives her his credit card to borrow.
