In the glamorous world of fashion modeling and corporate skulduggery, the focus is on a business tycoon and the head of a modeling agency, who shrewdly guide the careers to 16-year old models Taryn and Laurie. In the opener, Laurie's mother worries about letting her daughter become a model; and Taryn may lose a cosmetics contract owing to her prima-donna attitude and her demanding mother's behavior. Meanwhile, businessman David Fenton looks for a new face to save his floundering sportswear company, and his wife frets that no one will hire a 30-year old model.
