Dom, a teenager from the city is sent to his uncle in the small town Jarrilup, because his parents are unable to handle him. He is rebelius everwhere he goes. At school Tracey Dean gets the task of showing him around and helping him with schoolwork. They eventually don't get along together, but Dom joins Tracey's bushpatrol and they become friends.
