Worried about Richard's indiscriminate dating habits and reluctantly realizing that she misses New Christine as well, Christine vows to bring the couple back together. Her efforts on Richard's behalf result in an unexpected benefit in Matthew's love life. Meanwhile, Christine goes on a date with a great guy, Jeff (recurring guest star Scott Bakula), who seems perfect for her--except for one small detail.
