Fran feels like Mr. Sheffield's life is falling in a routine and convinces him to change. Meanwhile, she is terrified to learn that her mother kicked her father out of the house and go to her grandmothers for help. To make things better, Gracie doesn't want Fran to go on her play dates, which only makes Fran want everything go back to the way it was. When Sylvia and Morty finally make up, Fran still has to convince Mr. Sheffield not to make big changes in his life.
