Stefan instructs his doctor to create an identical copy of Chloe's prescription but to remove all traces of the medication's curative effect. Alan grimaces when a beaming Monica heaps praise on the wondrous Dr. Townsend. As Alexis moves her belongings into the penthouse across the hall, Sonny raises a cordial toast to his new neighbor. Later, a sputtering Ned arrives and berates his lover for getting even closer to her lowlife client. At L&B, Juan begins laying down the first tracks for ""Heart and Soul"" but the tune evokes bittersweet memories for both the singer and his muse. Meanwhile, Elizabeth tries to convince a worried Lucky and Nikolas that she would make the perfect spy when they go check out the blackmailer's domicile. Alan complains to Tony about Monica making plans to jump young Dr. Townsend's bones. Jax and Chloe get nowhere trying to calm Ned's fears about Alexis' new living arrangements. Later, Jax's meddling inadvertently convinces a slightly tipsy Alexis to stand pat.
