A 911 call comes in to Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana police. The body of 16-year-old Eric Walber was found lying face down along a remote gravel road, evidently dead from a hit and run. Police are devastated to learn the boy's identity, not just because he was an honor student and well liked in the community, but because Walber is the nephew of a captain from a neighboring sheriff's office. With little evidence at the scene and the case threatening to stall before it even gets off the ground, Eric's uncle calls Rosemarie Kerr, a California-based psychic who has worked with his department in the past.? When they connect over the phone, visions of gravel and a curving road begin to flood her mind. Kerr's accurate description of the crime scene is impressive, but it would be her description of the killers that breaks the case wide open.
