In this episode Matthew, Sooty and Sweep are Scouts and Soo is a Brownie. But Matthew thinks getting Brownie badges are easy, so Connie and Soo challenge Matthew to do a Brownie task to see if he still thinks they are easy. Connie comes round the next day to test Matthew. Matthew has cooked her something to test, but Matthew fails the badge when he trips and pours the pot of food onto Connie. Matthew is embarrased because he failed a Brownie badge so he decides that he will go out camping for a night with Sooty and Sweep to try to get a Brownie badge, but they are soon back at home without achieving their badge.
