It's Fathers Day, and Sooty, Sweep and Soo want to give Matthew a special day. They make him breakfast in bed, but they can't decide what to give him so they mix everything together. They ruin his newspaper and soak him and his bed which leaves him upset. Sooty, Sweep and Soo are crying, but Matthew tells them if they have any other surprises he will go along with it. They give him a really big picnic. Later on, Matthew gets a visit from his father, Harry. Harry shows us some of the model houses he has made and Harry is having problems with Sooty and his hosepipe, and Harry shouts Matthew and the water soakes Matthew!
