Welcome to the Mary Lou's Flip Flop Shop guide at TV Tome. Mary Lou's Flip Flop Shop was intended to encourage its child audience to lead active, healthy, cooperative lives. It was supposed to be a golden anniversary present for HoustonPBS, which had signed on way back on May 25, 1953, but terrible clearances caused Mary Lou's Flip Flop Shop to never get the exposure needed to succeed.
