It was do-or-die for both the Vikes and Bengals if they wanted to see the playoffs. Minnesota owned the first half, only to see Cincinnati cut the lead down to one point. Late in the game, a fourth-and-goal from the Bengals' one-yard line produced the Vikings' clinching score. Minnesoya won the NFC Central title, 29-21.
