Ako and Kaori visit a fortune-teller, but the news that Kaori gets is not pleasant: a doll will cry, she will get hit by a car, then she will die! She refuses to believe at first until it rains and a leaky roof causes rain to fall on a dolls eyes which makes it look like it is crying. Then Kaori is accidentally hit by a kid in a toy car. Kaori goes back to the fortune-teller to learn what her fate is going to be, and Kaori learns that she is supposed to die in battle facing Maria. So when a new monster begins to invade Japan, Kaori deliberately doesn't help the other Jetman as she is convinced the fortune-teller's words are true. It's all just a ruse however, set up by the Vyram, to make Kaori lose her fighting spirit. Will Kaori be able to regain her passion for protecting the world in time to help the other Jetman?
