It's fruit picking season down at the lock cottage. Admirable Karia has a problem because he can't reach the plums up in the tree. He asks Ravi to help him but he was too busy.
Wilton Cashmore is working hard in preparation of Mr. Biggott's Annual Presentation Dinner. Wilton is writing his speech for the occasion. A package arrives for him and he's so pleased. It turns out to be a new briefcase. He places the speech inside the briefcase.
Later on when he gets a call from Mr. Biggott he goes to read him the opening paragraph of the speech, but he can't remember the code to get it open.
