A waitress agrees to marry a fat, ugly patron because a fortuneteller predicts that if she does, he will inherit millions and die. After a few months in the awful marriage, she wins a million dollars and tries to leave him. He kills her, inherits her fortune and goes to the electric chair, fulfilling the prophecy.
