Fun colors, a gridiron coffee table and a TV/bar unit built by carpenter Faber Dewar make this space reach the end zone. Their neighbors have a passion for cooking, so Hildi Santo-Tomás is ready to spice up the blue team's kitchen. She updates the plain space and gives it an edge with a tile and bead backsplash and Chinese folk-art wall. Faber finishes it off with a new table and bench seating.
