On Christmas Eve in the Laurentian Mountains an unlucky guy named Clifford is getting ready for Christmas but fumbling things. He's wishing for a perfect Christmas when he drops the lucky snowglobe he bought which is supposed to grant a wish on Christmas Eve. When it cracks Clifford disappears in a flash of red light. At Torrington Academy Christmas vacation begins and Martin's all for taking it easy for the holidays but Diana's got every minute planned out in her daytimer. Their argument is interrupted by a call from Centre despite being promised the week off. They arrive there to find Java is already there, since neither he nor Billy have family or celebrate the holiday they're going icefishing together. Looking a lot less stern than usual MOM gives them both presents. A strobe light ring for Martin since he likes bright shiny things and a paperweight for Diana that contains a minaturized twister that MOM trapped while on her hurricane chasing vacation.
