Mexican Cave jump The Sontana de las Golandrinas (Cave of the Swallows) in Mexico is a quarter of a mile deep. The only way in is to jump down in it with a parachute. But, if you happen to startle the more than 100,000 swallows that live in there, you could be killed as they swarm out and become tangled in the chute lines.
