When Robert Bennett helped feed the lions because of a staff shortage at the Wellington Zoo that day, he never imagined the routine feeding ritual would go horribly wrong. Two young male lions leapt onto him from behind, dragging Robert down and hooking their teeth into his neck as visitors helplessly scream and film from the other side of the fence. Despite the injuries, Robert survived with no major damage.
Alex Larenty, an experienced lion trainer re-enacts the scenario using dummies to better understand what actually triggered the attack and if there are any chances and ways out of the lions' claws.
