On Father's Day, Huey volunteers to do all the work while his father relaxes. But his good intentions backfire, especially when he places a dirty windowpane over the swimming pool just as dear old Dad dives in. Huey removes the glass before his father can cut himself, but the elder duck decides that he's had enough. He prepares to go for a drive in the country, but the car won't start. Huey removes the brake, and the car crashes, landing his father in the hospital. When Huey tells him that he intends to do all the work every single day, Mr. Quack loses it.
