Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash bond by playing pranks on the other ponies, but when Rainbow's old friend, Gilda the Griffon, shows up for a visit, Pinkie Pie becomes a third wheel. However, when Gilda starts displaying a mean streak on other ponies, Pinkie decides to expose the griffon's true nature to her friends by throwing a party in her honor. Soon, Rainbow realizes that Pinkie is actually her true friend, not Gilda, and they both reconcile.
