This is the story of how safecracker Nuno Pontes masterminded a daring escape from a maximum security prison, told in his own words. Pontes and five inmates outfoxed prison guards for months to successfully construct a tunnel under the prison wall. However their freedom was short-lived. A drugs overdose, a dramatic car chase and a tense armed stand-off resulted in all six fugitives being put back behind bars. Featuring the testimony of two of the escapees, a prison employee, and the law enforcement agents who helped track the escapees down.
