London marks the starting point of our final trip: southern Britain. Taking a look at some of the most stunning parts of the country, we travel west to Heathrow, before following the Great Western Railway towards the impressive Caen Hill locks. Britain’s favourite tourist destination, Stone Henge, is next and we get to see the fabulous stones from a completely different perspective than the people on foot below us. Passing by the Cerne Abbas giant, we then head south towards the Jurassic Coast by Lyme Regis. A trip west from here takes us to one of Britain’s modern wonders: the Eden Project. From here we head back into the past, visiting a Georgian harbour, complete with period ships, and St Michael’s Mount. From here it’s a short trip west, over Land’s End as we leave England behind, arriving over the Isles of Scilly, with their own tropical microclimate. Southern Britain truly is as diverse and beautiful a place as any.
