Minnie scolds Mickey for eating the nuts she was saving for her pudding while Chip and Dale end up with nothing but golf balls. The chipmunks follow Mickey to the store to get the last batch of nuts. Mickey and the chipmunks arouse in a fierce competition for the nuts, causing disaster in the store until Mickey buys the nuts. Back at Mickey's house, Chip and Dale swap the Nuts for the golf balls.
