Donald is accompanied by both an angel and a devil. The former encourages Donald to go to school, while the latter preaches that he ought to go fishing and smoke. Smoking doesn't agree with Donald. The devil Donald, laughing, goes fisticuffs with the angel duck, who puts up more of a fight than expected. The moral lesson here seems to be a first for a Donald short, but it is done in a way unique to his character.
